Barb and Emily are proud to have had over 30 participants compete in the North Durham Semi-Final Business Idea Competition! They are working with youth under age 29 to refer them to the BACD to participate in various programs and to help coach those who have decided to enter the Ontario Centres of Excellence Pitch Competition. They look forward to continuing help young entrepreneurs to roll out their business concepts this summer and turn their passion into a paycheque! Uxbridge Networking Group Membership

Membership Includes:

- Receive monthly UNG e-Newsletter.

- Membership listing on the bi-annual Networking Magazine (publish in March and August).

- Business listing on the website at www.uxbridge.com/networkinggroup and www.uxbridge.com/business.

- Being promoted on social media.

- Participate in monthly breakfast and luncheon meetings from September to June.

- Participate at the Uxbridge Networking Group booth at the Uxbridge Fall Fair to promote their product and services.

Membership Fee:

$85+HST for the first year. For members who participate less than 6 Networking Group functions (including participations in meetings/events/advertising) in a year, renewal rate would be increased to $125. Annual membership fee is due each year on the month that you join the Networking Group, except for members who join in March or September, their membership fees are due in February and August, respectively. This will ensure that the Networking Group brochure (publish in March and in August) has the most current memberships listing.

Warm Welcome to New Members

Jane Plewman of Chalk Lake Strings located at 41 Chalk Lake Road. Jane has over 25 years of experience in Suzuki method of teaching violin and cello of all ages. Jane Plewman and Laurie Mitchell will be running this year's Durham Music Camp from June 29 to July 3, 2015 at Harmony Creek Community Centrer. All students will have a daily Master class, Group lesson and two electives such as: Chamber Music, Orchestra, Drumming, Improvisation, Music and Movement, Guitar, beginning viola/cello. Students of all ages, including adults, can apply to the Durham Music Camp. Suzuki, Traditional, Royal Conservatory and Conservatory Canada students are all welcome.
